>> " Though I am not able to contribute, many of the concerns discussed clarified my own search for meaning. The journey continues..." El-J

>> "This was a unique experience for me, a complete departure from my own narrowly focused, disciplinary conferences. The spiritual level of the proceedings was (for very personal reasons) a welcome and refreshing change. I left with a greatly elevated spirits and renewed hope for a U-turn, or at least a diversion from our present course. The greatest pleasure of the three days was meeting my fellow participants, and the chance to hear their stories. But the greatest disappointment was not being able to get to know each of them even better before we parted company." Larry

>> "This was my first experience attending an un-conference. It was indeed a diversion and a U-turn for me with such a life changing experience. I like the structure of the dialogues and the un-conference method. The questions raised were very powerful that challenged the participants to think beyond their comfort zones. The Open Space was an innovative model which I wish to replicate it in my future workshops and dialogues. This can be applied in our classroom discussions....This journey was a healing process for me where I listened to people who shared similar views about the modern life and release the suppressed pains and expressions. Even without speaking we could feel and hear each other’s dreams and wishes. I am hopeful that with such strong and committed individuals nothing can withstand the change that is needed very urgently in this world. I am fortunate to have met such wonderful and self-less individuals working hard to realize and showing the path to the new diversion and U-turns steering the rest to get-off the high way." Lhunka Dukpa

>> "...thanks for pulling the unconference together...look forward to be engaged and build on the work." Subrat

>> "The unconference was a wonderful experience. I wish we could do it in our classrooms and among community gatherings and in the family. It connects people and helps them drop all their baggage - cultural, ethnic, and social -  and be as one. Hats off to Manish who was an excellent facilitator. You and Lazar have done a great job in connecting people of diverse cultures." Sam

>> "Thanks for this wonderful opportunity Nat to be together. Much to chew upon."  Surajit

>> "..Now we do have to keep meeting. Lets start by collecting stories of wisdom from our respective parts of the world." Vijayalakshmi

>> "We have had the opportunity to share our impressions of the un-conference and to draw some inspiration for our book. First of all we are grateful to you for having invited me to make a presentation of our undertaking. Even if there were little public reference to that during the un-conference, it lead to several bilateral conversations of participants interested in contributing a case study or comments on a draft. This is precious. Second, listening to the exchanges, I got a better understanding of what was meant by spirituality and sustainability, which will help to reflect the diversity of sensitivities on these human dimensions and concerns in the book. Third, we were all interested by the methodology followed during those days; it certainly helped to break the ice at the beginning and each morning. This facilitated contacts and gave a precious human dimension to issues that are addressed in a too rational, political or academic approaches in the usual conferences. But, I find that too much time was devoted to gestures and postures that sometimes lacked of sincerity and that, more, did not leave enough time to start entering into the heart of the issues." Yves Bertholet

>> "I am profoundly moved by your kind letter. I will keep in touch. Once more I thank you for all you have done to achieve the unconference. I have a little regret: I feel that while you sent us at least three versions of notes to think about and discuss, we did not give them enough attention." Gaston

>> "Thank you for the lovely conference. It was such a pleasant surprise for me. I got a great deal out of the interactions and explorations and hope my participation added something to the week."  Nancy

>> "Thanks for having me invited for the unconference. I thoroughly enjoyed the unconference. It was indeed a unique one as it engages everyone in conversation and dialogues. It definitely helped me broaden my horizon to what we call as development. Such events only give hopes that there are possibilities also for taking u-turns and diversions to lean and de-learn. I wish we had at least half a day to introduce our selves to all participants because there were very interesting people from different backgrounds, different nations and something common in all was that each participants seems to be going something interesting, getting off the highway, already taking u-turns and diversions...I will be the unconference ambassador in Ladakh in the Himalayas!" Tsewang Rigzin

>> "I did enjoy the sessions that I could participate....Nevertheless I will cherish the experience and also the people I met there." Anwar

>> "Thank you my dear for all you did to bring us together. It was a great unconference!" Indu

>> "Thank you for inviting me to this workshop. I found it valuable in terms of feeling ,more committed to our common vision and work. I also made new connections for real action." Min

>> "Thanks you very much for the unconference. an opportunity to make friends in a life that could be short and unpredictable. Wonderful hospitality, warmth and care. Would certainly like to be part of such exercises in future." Amites

>> "..Once again thank you so much and I am so happy that I am well connected with this new group of energies. Have more ideas and dreams to be with them further."  Kanchana

>> "I really appreciate your leadership and guidance at the un-conference. I liked the modality of the discussions, particularly the open space forum." Lhunka Dupka

>> "I would like to thank you for inviting me to such a noble event and I am happy and glad to get to meet so many kind and determined people who want to make a difference in this world. It was really an amazing experience to be part of such community." Surendra Babu

>> "Hey, guys (and gals)! Just returned home last night. I miss all of you already. You have inspired me with your good work and life commitments. The unconference was awesome. I hope and pray that we will meet again very soon. Take good care of yourselves and Mother Earth!"  Dicky (From Facebook)
