Born in Tiruchirapalli, India in 1942. Married with two children and three grandchildren.
Pre-university studies in Mathematics, Science and a five year course in Latin and one year course in French. Graduated from Madras University in Electrical Engineering with Electronics and Control System (Cybernetics) as special subjects.
Worked for thirty six years in the field of industrial and process automation of which twenty five years of experience was on corporate Boards at the Indian and global level and three years of which was as president – Asia Pacific in Singapore for a multinational company. Was involved in setting up a wholly owned manufacturing operation in Shanghai, China.
Instrumental in introducing into the Indian industry for the first time LSI based alarm monitoring systems and Intrinsic safety in the petrochemical sector.
In 1993, was awarded “Indira Gandhi Piriyadarshini Award” in recognition of life time achievements and contribution to technology sector by the Indian parliament speaker Mr. Shivraj Patil.
In 2002 moved to the social empowerment sector and organized two initiatives namely; SPARK and MANITHAM. Mentor of “SPARK” (an acronym for “Spiritual Awakening And Renewal through Knowledge”) having a web presence through blogging and writing articles on deeper interpretations of sacred writings and sharing his knowledge through talks, keynote addresses, workshops and seminars. Currently Chairman of MANITHAM – A public charitable trust for holistic value based education of socially challenged children in rural setting. www.creaschool.in
Currently on the Board of Studies of the Physics Department of Stella Maris College (Autonomous), Chennai.
A systemic thinker with wide range of knowledge in Sustainable technologies, Cosmology, Quantum Physics, consciousness studies and deeper interpretation of sacred writings and mythologies.
